2. The game: Wall Breach: Monster Jump
Room scan (spatial data)
With your permission ("spatial data"), the game reads the room model you created in the Quest settings: walls, floor, ceiling, door frames and the boxes around furniture. It uses this model only while you play, in the headset's memory, to place wall holes, monsters and decorations and to let monsters jump onto your furniture. The game does not save the room model and does not send it anywhere. You can withdraw the permission at any time in the Quest settings; without it the game cannot be played.
Camera and depth
You see your room through the headset's passthrough, which the Quest system provides. The game has no access to camera images. It uses the headset's depth information only while drawing, so that virtual objects can hide behind real ones. Nothing of it is stored or sent.
Data saved on your headset
The game saves your highscores (points, wave, date and the name you type in for the list) and your settings (volume, reduce flashes, frame rate display, comfort mode, outfit) in its own storage on the headset. We do not receive them. They are deleted when you uninstall the game. If you use Meta's cloud backup, Meta may back up this data under its own privacy policy.
What the game does not do
- No user account, no sign-in with us
- No advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, no third-party SDKs for marketing
- No in-app purchases, no multiplayer, no voice or chat
- No collection of hand, eye, face or body tracking data
Stores and the Quest platform
The game is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store and SideQuest. Meta processes data such as your account, download, crash and performance data under its own responsibility; see the Meta Privacy Policy and the Supplemental Meta Platforms Technologies Privacy Policy. If you get the game from SideQuest, SideQuest processes your download data under its own privacy policy. The game itself makes no license check and sends nothing to these platforms.
Legal basis
Using your room data on the headset is necessary to provide the game you chose to play (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and only happens with your permission in the Quest system.
